AI in the Classroom: ChatGPT and Beyond

Kursbeschreibung

Generative AI is changing how teachers plan, how students write and how schools think about assessment. This course gives you a clear, practical understanding of tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and education-specific AI apps. You will practise prompting for lesson planning, creating differentiated materials and generating feedback, and you will design learning activities in which students use AI critically. We also cover AI ethics, data protection under the GDPR and the EU AI Act, school AI policies and how to talk to parents. Participants leave with prompts, activities and a draft AI guideline for their school. Suitable for teachers of all subjects in secondary education and for school leaders; no technical background needed.
