Resilience and Burnout Prevention for Educators
Understand burnout, strengthen your resilience and build a healthier school culture.

Course description
Burnout is not a personal failure but the result of chronic stress in demanding working conditions. This course helps teachers and school leaders recognise early warning signs, understand their own stress patterns and develop resilience skills: cognitive strategies, recovery and sleep, boundaries, social support and meaning in work. We also look at the school as a system: what leaders and teams can change to prevent burnout, and how to talk about mental health openly. The week combines psychological input, individual reflection and coaching in small groups, with time outdoors in the mild climate of Tenerife. Suitable for teachers, counsellors and school leaders at all levels.
Learning objective
Participants will be able to recognise signs of burnout in themselves and colleagues, apply personal resilience strategies for energy, recovery and boundaries, and propose concrete measures to improve staff wellbeing at their school.
